I get a lot of academic spam: invitations to submit papers, lures to attend conferences in exotic places, promises of fast publication, and that sort of thing. Most of it is laughably bad. But this subject line really caught my attention today:
Great News! You are Highly Invited for Servicing as a Editor in Chief
It was from a Mina of the Euro-Asia Academic Alliance (a fake organization). The real sender was a predatory publisher. Perhaps I should write to 'Mina' and ask what kind of servicing she has in mind?
Anybody else get any spam that contains inappropriate suggestions?
