Name:Rylie Davenport
Age:30
Height: 5'1"

Ms. Davenport scurried around the small office files hugged to her chest while her free hand searched the filing cabinet for more paperwork. A receiver was pressed to her ear, held there by her shoulder as she spoke. The small irritated screech from the other end of the phone made her wince. "I understand that there is a convention in town for this month but you have got to have one room available!" Her voice was a plea, answered only by the laugh of the hotel manager on the other end before a resounding click as the line went dead. Taking a seat at her desk Rylie placed down both the phone and files she had been carrying. Rubbing her temples she couldn't help but groan. If it wasn't one thing it was the other. She had been on the phone all day attempting to find her boss a room as his new home was still under construction.

Having flown in early that morning with him they had both found out the bad news together. Now she was at a loss. She had been working with him for a few years and had managed to work out all problems they had come to but this time she wasn't sure what to do. With a deep breath she stood slowly, smoothing her suit she glanced to the door. She began to pace for a few moments, her feet aching slightly in the high heels she wore. Rubbing her temples she tried to think for something. About the time she was going to give up the thought struck her. Turning she hurried into his office.

"Sir." She said with a gentle smile. He looked as tired as she was. The day have been odd to say the least but the good news was they had managed to get most of the office in order. At least they were on schedule with that.

"I've called every hotel in the area, going as far as two counties over but this convention that's going on has everything booked solid. I'm sorry sir. It looks as though we wont be putting you up in a hotel. There is only a few options left... if you would like we could have you fly in every day which would be very time consuming and expensive or...." She swallowed. "If you like I have an extra bedroom at my place...you could stay with me until your home is finished."

Danial looked up from his laptop for what felt like the first time in hours as Rylie came into his office. As she spoke he let out a frustrated sigh but it wasn't at her it was about the situation they found themselves in combined with the day they were having.

"That seems about right for today. While I can just charge the tickets to the Corporate account I doubt the president would look fondly on that large of an expense...I told him he should have just gotten me a private jet" he said jokingly.

"Anyway...are you sure it wouldn't be an inconvenience to put me up? I don't need much space and I travel really light so you'll barely notice I'm there. Just need somewhere to sleep so I don't murder people here when things don't work out."

With a soft chuckle she shook her head. "A jet would be cheaper." She joked. "I have plenty of room, and I've got an extra bed to go along with the offer and as long as you don't mind a dog." Rubbing her arm she glanced to the clock. "It's getting late sir. I think we have done all we can for the night...maybe we should head out? Start fresh in the morning? Tomorrow has to be better." She cooed.

Turning she glanced to the door. "I'll finish up the last of the paperwork and ensure you don't have any meetings tomorrow first."

"That's fine Rylie I have some end of day things I need to get done first before I can leave as well."

Another two hours pass before he stands and streatches. He grabs the coat off the back of his chair, closed his laptop, turned off the lights, and then locked his office door. "Sorry about that Rylie...I'm good to go now. Are you hungry? I kept you longer so I don't mind treating you to dinner if you want."

Rylie was busy typing away at the computer her eyes flicking from the screen to the papers beside her. She barely heard him when he spoke, startling her slightly. "Oh... sir.." She glanced to the clock with a gasp. "Is it that late already." She rubbed the bridge of her nose before taking a deep breath. 'That's not necessary sir. We can eat at my place if you would like. "

Turning off her computer and cleaning up her desk she stood, grabbing her cat and purse." I've got a taxi ready if you are." SHe coed.

(sorry busy at work)

"Yeah I'm ready, but are you sure you don't want to grab something? My treat?"

Looking up at him she paused. "If you would like we can Sir. Or we can eat at my place." She smiled sweetly.
