Google has a new service where you can type in a keyword (or keywords) and come up with a list of the ten towns or cities where that word is googled the most.

A very interesting insight into what goes on behind closed doors.

Just to give you a flavour, here are some of my findings:

For the same reason Canadian- and UK-based companies tend to use province and county indentifiers. Google being an American-based (or, more rightly U.S.-based) company, it stands to reason ... btw, I've never understood why Canadian and Mexican nationals aren't referred ;) to as Americans as well as us Yanks, since we're all part of the bloody same continent.
