Undoing Italics

I have multiple paragraphs in italics, though I have a <I> at the beginning and the end, the story continues in italics. How do I turn it off?

To turn off the italics, the command is </i>. So ... <i> to open and then </i> to close.

If a lit page of story ends in italics, it can mess things up. Make sure *each paragraph* starts with <i> and ends with </i>, not just the entire passge.
