Interesting movie.

Interesting plots and subplots.

Interesting chit all the way around, so which do you think you are?

I'm definitely more of the primal, violent (Lycan) type of gal myself...whether or not that expresses itself in me or solely my partner is up for debate. o)

Ugh...I really expected more from the movie. But I guess they probably can't show the sorts of things I'd be interested in seeing...

Lycan
I like the biting and blood but I am not refined enough to be a vamp ;)
And I don't leave PRETTY bite marks :p

Can I give you my answer after I see it AA? It looks pretty interesting, nice and dark....

Is a lycan a furry creature that is sort of like a shape shifter? As opposed to a vampire like Lestat and the such?

I just don't what a lycan is...

Lycan is short for Lycanthrope, the technical name for a werewolf

Well why didn't you just say so! Of course it is lycan then!

You forgot the required "Neither" or "Other".

Haven't seen the movie and have no desire to. (Better ways to spend my $10) As to the poll? Couldn't answer, as I would have to choose "Neither".

lycan...through and through. Tis the alpha bitch in me that makes it fit soo perfectly.

pet:rose:

Vamp through and through, I leave little bites and all. I enjoy the politics in the vamp coven/society.

as for the movie... i expected more, the powers of both creatures, the music could have been more alluring (done by manson, trent reznor and maynard...) it could have been alot better considering the roleplaying games Vampire and Warewolf ... the movie is getting sued by Wizards of the Coast for it being too alike the games though...

oi.. I just showed my dorkish colours didn't I? heh... ::slinks off into the shaddows...::

Thanks Cellis... I am in the dark about all this, too.

Where is the "neither one" option?

I actually knew that stuff too, babe...but only because when we were buying our tickets, a friendly middle-aged man behind us confided the history of the V&W and the impending lawsuit. He's the dork, not you. :D

I thought the soundtrack was quite exhilarating...good music to be beaten to! I caught the brief "He did it all for you" from Judith but strangely didn't pick up Trent or Manson...mostly just "why the fuck does this theater have the sound so damned loud?!" When the phone ringing makes me cover my ears, it's too loud.

: gets all warm and happy : i loves you too !! hehe

I am a musicoholic I live breath play dream eat sleep music... and I didn't notice it all too much during the movie, they could have done so much more with effects and guitar riffs etc... ya know... like "horror" movies do? ::shrugs:: well, they left it open for a sequil (that is if their asses don't get too sued) Too bad bc the movie was pretty good and the games are even better.

just this weekend there was a band that preformed near by and it was free so I went... ugh, they had 8 guitars (including a delux model gibson and a starburst old style Epiphone ... a 5string Fender bass..) uh... I almost came from them tuning... (i promply drove home and attacked my SO..hehe) anywho... enough about that eh? lol.

I love a good show
always leaves me randy :D
I'm going to take Pouty to see BOC tomorrow night...
I saw them last about 12 years ago
5 guys alternating guitar, bass, and lyrics, 2 guys drumming
What I remember most is that when they played "Godzilla" 4 of the guys picked up a bass LOL
They about shook the roof off that seedy biker bar and we all went nuts
Should be fun :D

Loved the book
didn't love the movie
Some of the changes Cruise insisted on pissed me off
One suggestion: Plug in toys, Battery operated ones are for amateurs :D

I'm working on the plug ins, I haven't found any i really liked enough to buy. My newest conquest is lurking/posting here and trying to find out how i can get on the "mailing list" to test toys, write reviews or something like that were I get'em for free bc of lack of money bc of college and I would sell them and travel around except that I do still go to school and wont have the time to dedicate to both... and I'm almost done, I don't want to run away with a box of toys before I get outta here. lol.

Small spoiler and hint

In the film, Lucian says, "We were their servants, their day time protectors."

Grinning ... enough of a paradox for you?

Dammit - I have to go see this movie! It's got that "Anita Blake" vibe going for it (in my mind, anyway) and I need some pure fiction.
