I have a story that has over 2,000 visits but only three votes. Would love to have more, even if people don't like it - when you put stories in the non-erotic section I think you expect all kinds of feedback on the quality of what you've done.

Now, it could very well be that the story simply sucks. However, the three votes it has got (currently) were all fives, so perhaps not.
I would have thought that non-erotic by definition excludes those looking for stroke stories or hot sex. Would I be wrong to think that non-erotic should therefore have a smattering of people who will be prepared to vote on technical merit, rather than not vote at all?
Or have I got the non-erotic readership all wrong?
