Hubby goes into hospital tomorrow at 9am and sometime after that he'll be going in to have the nasal surgery which we're hoping will put paid to all the health problems he's been having.

Just asking for your good thoughts and prayers and your understanding as I'm going to be a little crazy for the next few days until I get him back home.

Thanks.

Best thoughts and wishes to you and Mr EL. May his snoot be smelling sweet things again soon.

Oh, best of luck to him and the doctors and to you and your family as you wait out the surgery!

He'll come through this just fine and feel better for it all, you know.

:rose::rose::rose:

(Oh - but he'll still be a deviant, right?) ;)

Many thoughts and prayers to you both. I know it will all go well.

thanks love and I do beleive there isn't a procedure on this earth that could totally un-deviate my husband. ;)

Sending strength and healing vibes your way.

Appreciated, Rob. :)

Best wishes and not to worry, nasal surgery isn't all that risky. :rose:

Cheers, sweetheart.

Many thoughts and prayers to you both. I know it will all go well.

thank you.

Best wishes for you and Mr. Lady, EL! ;) May you both enjoy many more years of happy deviance!

Do you remember when we were little and a bandage made everything feel better? Here’s one I stole from my child that still has its magic intact.

Git well, Mr. El

You are always there for us, so we are always here for you. Best wishes EL, for you and hubby.

I had something similar back just before Christmas. Opened maxillary sinuses, straightened septum, tonsillectomy, adnoidectomy, uvula removed and soft palate trimmed. Air? Man, can I breathe. He's going to love it! He probably will stop snoring.

Best of luck and rapid healing to Mr. EL, sweetie. My daughter had similar surgery. She can breathe much easier, she's much less likely to be bothered by allergies...and no more sinus infections.

(Wocka-wocka) :D

That is so sweet, thanks love.

Fingers crossed, EL.

:)

You have them of course, sweet Lady!

Thank you!

Good Luck EL

Cheers, Noor. I'll pass some over to hubs, he'll need more than me! *LOL*

Thank you, Darling.

Sounds similar. They're going to give him a thorough cleaning out, like a nasal spring clean. *grins* It's lovely to hear about positive results as the last op he had on his nose made him worse (don't get me started on that, needless to say he's at a different hospital this time!) but this sounds really positive, thank you.

wocka-wocka, fozzy. :)

I know he'll be thrilled with no more sinus infections especially!
We will be thinking about you both

Thanks Bel.

thank you good little witch!

Best wishes for Mr (and Mrs) EL.

I hope that his surgery is effective and will give him a new lease of life.

I had nasal surgery in the early 1960s. In those days, on local anaesthetic, it seemed as if they had put a Black and Decker electric drill up each nostril on a "hammer" setting. It was remarkably successful in restoring free breathing. It was 30 years before my nose required minimal attention again.

I hope that Mr EL's experience today is less traumatic but just as useful.

Og

Thanks King Og! :rose:

Hubs just rang, he's just been for a scan and is waiting to be 'zapped' which, as i gather, is some kind of laser treatment that helps unblock his sinuses. Then he'll ring me again. Not sure at this point what will happen next, will let you know when I know.

New update:

The cancerous cells are back. He's been well and truly zapped but cannot be operated on now. He'll be rescanned and re-assessed next week. He will probably have to og on some anti-cancer meds, we'll hear more on that form his doctor soon.

One step forward, two steps back. *sigh*
