These people find a body artist they know they can trust to use proper sterility procedures...usually someone they know personally or someone referred to them by a good friend or family member, and then don't go anywhere else. In addition, they also know how to care for each piece of art and the wounds they create so they don't get infected, remain clean, and heal properly.

A lot of that is stuff I couldn't have done to myself but most of it was interesting in its own way.

After seeing several late middle aged women in Hell-Mart with new tats, I couldn't help but wonder what those folks in the slide show would look like aged 90 sitting in a nursing home.
