Hello Everyone-

I've notice in reading some of the threads here that a few folks are counting down to their delivery date or mentioned the difference between their relationships/what they liked before vs. after having kids. Mostly I'm curious:

1) Do Dom(mes)/subs suspend play while pregnant, ease up or alter their usual mo?

2) Does pregnancy change a bdsm experience for the woman? for their partner?

3) Do you think motherhood is appealing or offputting? This could be a before, during or after kind of ?

4) What behaviors/games are safe vs. unsafe if a woman is pregnant or just gave birth?

*grin* not my fetish, but I'm in a 'culture of birth' class and thought it would be neat to get a perspective from the bdsm culture. In class we've discussed MD vs Midwife perspectives and looked at some subcultures in the US and Sweden, but nothing kinky yet. If we learn more I'll add it to the thread. Catch you later.

We have threads covering these topics, give me a little while I'll go fish them out for you , won't be long :rose:

Here we go ......

Pregnancy & BDSM

BDSM while pregnant

Pregnancy and parenting

Spankings and pregnancy

BDSM and Impregnation

Are there dangers to Cervical dilation?

Here is a link to the BDSM Library if you want to search areas more specific regarding breast health etc.

Ohhh and if this is something you plan on embarking on more immediately may I suggest .....

*Shh* Quiet things to play with?

: chuckles :

Best of luck :rose:

Edit to add : faeriefire, my apologies for the thread duplication above, I need to open a 'Post Reply' in order to place ongoing coding for thread referrals and am unable to ascertain it this pursuit has been preempted in a more timely manner until I actually hit submit. ~ @}-}rebecca----

My pleasure, there are some quirky threads that hint around the fringes of this topic, please don't hesitate to pm me if you get stuck or alternately address them here in the thread. I will not be adding any more links without your direct request to do so.

Happy to have been of some assistance :rose:

i havnt had any babys yet but my sistr has and i cal tell you she didnt stop any of her bdsm stuff before having her baby. and she looked hot doing it,espeshuly in the swinh harness. just my 2 cents.

Umm...super hot and really encouraged under safe and doctor-accepted guidelines?

Pregnancy.... *shudders* is sooooooooo hot.

I'm sure it's in there somewhere, but near the end you'll want to be aware that intense orgasms have been known to trigger labor. And post-partum, nothing is to be inserted in to the vagina for 6 weeks as everything heals.

Alright but what if she initiates it?

I had a woman push me and push me and push me (using her femanine wiles and temptation skills, which were VERY good) to make me take her.

She must've been about 12 days past delivery. Knew I wanted it, kept pushing and pushing.
Fingering herself, sliding up to me, pressing her breasts against me..knowing I had knowladge having been working in the medical field at that point for 9 years.

She knew I knew the risks...and she kept pushing. Nipping at my neck, breathy words against my skin and lips whispered in her husky tone...lightly dragging nails along my neck and chest, gripping my cock as I bit down and started to growl deep in my throat which she KNEW was my sign that it's the last warning and that I'm getting pissed off and close to my limit. She knew it...

I lashed out. I forced her. I threw her (literally) to the floor of her living room and raped her.

Hmm....nice trip down the lane. Thank you.

On the plus side, sperm (actually progesterone in the ejaculate) can help soften the cervix which may decrease time of labor. Studies are contradictory and many are based on qualitative reports from surveys and interviews. Some studies suggest that sexual desire increases in many cases around 4 weeks after giving birth. Others have reported decreased sexual desire in the third trimester and in the year following birth. These outcomes were often associated with sleep deprivation, perineal trauma, postpartum depression and first pregnancies (primapara). But that said, everyone is different. And every pregnancy is unique. IMHO I think it's a beautiful process and that it's wonderful when a couple shares and works together to bring a little person into the world. Sex is one aspect of a relationship and it's an important one in that it affirms for a couple that they are in it together and are still desirable as other family dynamics shift in preparation for childrearing. Sidenote...this is based on reading, studying and talking with women who have had children, but I haven't given birth myself, so this info is not based on personal experience. Someday tho...

btw...twysted that example was...wow! um...a really huge turnon... So...was snapping like that more merciful than holding back do you think? Would this fall into the category of 'she doesn't know what's best so protect the weak clueless woman by avoiding sex with her'? Not sure if I like that. If a woman wants sex after giving birth...well do studies actually say that damage will occur or is that Health Care Providers covering their asses with the arbitrary 6 week cutoff? I mean, it takes about 2 yeras for a woman's body to return to prepregnancy state so why 6 weeks? Sounds tho like she was playing 'come-and-get-me' but at the same time 'you-can't-have-me'. Talk about mind games.

LOL, guess it is one of those things you have to experience first to know why 6 weeks. Orgasm is one thing, penetrative sex is quite another, neither is usually uppermost in your mind of things you just can't wait to do after giving birth. As it is, even with waiting the 6 weeks, it is painful that first time, and after the second baby, it can be excruciatingly painful.

Then I guess it's her fault if she tears something or gets an infection or damages herself in any other way. Afterall, what could you do.. you were just a man...

Hey if she wants the risk of infection or further damage, I guess that's all on her. after all... what could you have done.. you're only a man.
