The power of the cosmos played over Angela’s skin as she bathed in the Sun’s flames. It felt good to get away from things for a while she though as she waved her hand through the nuclear fire, feeling it tingling between her fingers before drifting away. Near omnipotence certainly had its advantages and indulging herself in a real sunbed was one of the better ones.

With a sigh the divine being rolled over in the flames, letting them lick every inch of her naked form. No-one else in the world had any idea how good it felt to have their erogenous zones teased by a star, and spreading her legs wider Angela let the fire tease her as her fingers gently stroked her engorged clit, her sexual juices sizzling away as the Sun’s power evaporated them from her thighs.

Finally her orgasm burst and Nova let herself go completely, the ensuing solar flare roaring out into space as her body lay quivering and spent in the star’s chromosphere. For a few minutes she simply relaxed there, enjoying a true afterglow as the burst of deadly radiation she'd spawned spun away to dissipate between the stars.

It had felt good, just as it always did, but Nova still felt unfulfilled. Masturbation helped but even when assisted by the Sun’s power it only sated her desires so much, and as always Nova was left needing more.

With a far less enthusiastic sigh Nova let herself Slide, instantly teleporting her back to the New York apartment her human host Angela Kincaid used as a domicile. As her molecules coalesced back in the rundown three rooms Angela called home Nova allowed her silver skin to merge once more with the human’s body, sinking beneath the surface leaving Angela naked and shivering in the cold night air.

“Dammit… what have I said about turning the goddamn heating on when you leave?” Angela said, half to herself as she knew the Nova force lurking inside her would never answer.

Reaching over for a robe, which she'd left out on the back of a chair knowing from experience that it’d be needed, Angela quickly wrapped it around her shoulders and reached for her pack of cigarettes. As she stepped up to the window, the flaming stick of crushed leaves held to her mouth, Angela looked out over the city. She could hear sirens in the distance, but that was no surprise. There always seemed to be something going wrong in the mess of humanity she chose to live as part of.

Just as she was stubbing her cancer stick out the phone rang and Angela wearily leaned over to pick it up. ‘We've got an emergency, everyone’s needed.’ The same old story, but it seemed to be happening more and more over the last few weeks, as if something big was coming and they were already feeling the pressure building.

Reaching over for her paramedic uniform Angela quickly pulled it on over her naked body. Underwear didn't seem too important when every minute wasted could mean another person dead. Without even thinking Angela Slid into the ambulance station, appearing out of nowhere in the back of the changing room and stepping up to her locker to fetch the equipment she kept stored there.

Hopefully tonight wouldn't be too much of a clusterfuck, and perhaps she'd have time for another solar swim before her real shift began.

Barry Westwood had been working for the last several weeks as one of the hospital's newest doctors. At least that was the name that he was going by now. TAO had been lured to the area after hearing reports of a huge influx of unique powers.

For the first time in a very long time he had "felt" this power when he arrived. Since trying to figure out who had this power was not as promising as he had hoped, Barry had manipulated several individuals to carry out random attacks. He had figured eventually he would isolate the person by bringing them here.

He moved his hand against his blonde hair, letting his muscles flex a little bit. While he wasn't built like a model he stayed in good shape. He watched through his brown eyes as people started to run around, getting everything ready for the call that just came through.

"Tonight I'll find you," he said in a quiet tone. There was no way of not being able to with everyone being called in from a bombing several blocks away that he convinced a homeless person to carry out with his mind.

During the course of the first few hours he tried to probe all of the medical workers minds, trying to methodically find his prey. Once he saw Angela he felt the surge of power in her. It was like nothing he had ever felt before. He made sure his coat was buttoned up as he approached her.

"Kincaid," he said calmly as he watched her finish up with one of the victims while reading her nameplate, "are you doing alright?" He could tell she was full of power. "You look like you could use a break," he said before she could answer. His mind had already started to read hers while he was waiting for a response.

"I'm fine," Angela responded flashing the stranger a weak smile as she brushed her hair from her eyes with the back of her hand. The bombing attack had taken out a building in the middle of a shopping plaza at midday and all around her injured civilians lay screaming and dying. This wasn't the time to be worrying about herself when there were so many people in need of her help. "I just need a second to catch my breath."

Inside her Angela could feel the Nova force stirring, as though it detected some kind of threat nearby. Brushing the feeling aside Angela looked over at the blonde doctor standing next to her. She recognised him a little as someone from the hospital where she worked, but couldn't quite place his face.

"I'm sorry, have we met before?" She asked in a distracted manner as her attention was drawn to a woman screaming a few metres away as she clutched her son in her arms. Angela was just about to move to help when one of the other paramedics buzzing around the plaza stepped up instead.

"Dr. Barry Westwood. I'm one of the newer doctors," he said as he watched the other paramedics step up as they talked. "I'm normally on third shift, so we've probably passed by before."

He continued to read her mind, feeling some resistance fade in and out as if she was in conflict with herself. "Hell of a way to start the day, right?" Barry asked trying to keep her focused on him. "You can catch your breath while staying hydrated," Barry told Angela.

He was amazed that there was this much resistance with this lovely woman. Usually he would have more control by now with almost any other person. He reached out his hand towards hers. "We have some food and water over here," he stated again, tying to reassure her that this is what she needed.

Turning towards the table of supplies Angela smiled at the friendly doctor, while at the back of her head the itch of the Nova force continued to build. It could sense an intruder, another presence in Angela's mind which needed to be hunted down and eradicated, quickly. All Angela knew of this was the sharp, splitting headache which suddenly burst at her temple as she stepped towards the drink stand.

"Whoa!" She cried out, grabbing at the edge of the folding table to steady herself. "I think I've been pushing myself a little harder than I thought," she explained with a weak grin, reaching for a large cup of watered down orange juice to replenish her fluids.

As she glugged down the refreshingly cool beverage and reached for a second helping Angela gazed over at Barry with a discerning eye. He wasn't too bad looking, and seemed pleasant enough, but there was something not quite in sync with the way he walked and talked which seemed to set him apart from the others around him.

Angela shrugged aside her doubts, she was tired and the headache really wasn't helping her mood right now. After all Barry only seemed to be trying to help and it'd be rude not to accept a little assistance at a time like this. "Would you care for some?" The weary paramedic asked, holding out one of the cups for Barry.

Barry watched as Angela started to grab the table. He reached over and helped her up. "Are you alright, Kincaid?" He asked with a strong sense of concern. He watched as she regained her composure and started to drink some of the orange juice.

He was a bit surprised at her willingness to help him when she offered him a drink. "I'm alright. You need it more than I do," he stated firmly. He wanted to make sure she was alright while easing off of her mind.

There was no doubt that Angela was looking fairly fatigued. "Is this your normal shift that you work?" Barry asked. He figured if it wasn't he would try to play on that aspect since it looked very evident that she had been here for quite a while.

Tilting her head to one side Angela considered the question for a moment, glancing down at her watch to check exactly what time it actually was. "It is my shift, but I was already here for a couple of hours before officially starting, so I think you could say I'm pulling a double," she answered once again flashing a fatigued smile Barry's way before draining the second cup of weak orange juice.

"I think that's enough relaxing for now though, there's still a lot of people needing our help," the dedicated paramedic announced, dropping the empty cups int he recycling bin and making her way back to the triage area to work on another patient desperately in need of help.

Barry reached into his pocket and pulled out his card. He handed it to her as she finished her drinks. "Here is my card," he told her. "If you can't find me and need a ride home let me know, alright?" Barry asked. "The last thing we need is to lose someone else because they were working a double."

Barry followed suit and headed to go check on more patients. At the same time he was working on controlling the minds of the other paramedics, trying to get more info about her. He figured worst case he had a name that he could look up in the hospital to get in contact with her again. Now he was just thinking of ways of how to exploit and use her power for his gain.

It was another couple of hours before the last of the seriously injured had been dealt with and shipped out to hospitals across the city and Angela was in the process of dealing with the walking wounded, those fit enough to be able to make their own way to the medical centres, when her supervisor finally let Angela know she was free to leave.

As she made her way out of the incident site Angela's hand slipped into her pocket and found Barry's card. She was feeling exhausted after the long day and part of her wanted to just head home and slip into a nice, hot bath, but a more insistent part of her said she needed to do a little more than just relax right now.

Deciding to take a chance Angela pulled her cell phone out and quickly tapped the number into the keypad, before starting to tap her foot on the pavement as she waited several long seconds for the doctor to answer. She was just about to hang up and call it a night when the ringing stopped and Angela heard someone breathing on the other end of the line. "Hello? I was looking for Barry Westwood? The doctor?"

"This is he," Barry said as he heard Angela's question resonate through the phone. He was wondering, yet hoping, it was her since he didn't hand out his card to anyone else that day. "May I ask who's calling?" Barry inquired as he looked away from the computer screen.

Ever since he escaped he figured if he was going to take on a personality like his current one, he should at least put in an effort to look like he was busy. Right now he was going through her file to make sure he was somewhat familiar with her.

"Umm, hi Barry," the paramedic began nervously. She never did anything like this and wasn't entirely sure exactly what is was she was doing. "It's Angela, the paramedic from the bomb site earlier? I just got off work and was wondering if you'd like to take me for a drink, or dinner, or something."

Realising she was rambling a little Angela quickly pulled the phone away from her mouth and swore at herself while pressing her hand tightly over the receiver. Get ahold of yourself Angie, don't blow it before you even get started.

Lifting the phone back to her ear Angela glanced down the street, checking the street signs to make sure she knew where she was before speaking into the handset again. "I'm just at Park and 5th and can meet you just about anywhere."

Pulling the handset away again she let out an angry sigh. Don't sound so damned desperate. You're a good looking woman with the powers of a cosmic god, it's not like you couldn't catch another guy. Just relax and let him speak.

"Hey, Angela," Barry said as he heard her identify herself. He leaned back in his chair as he listened to her suggestions. He spent a moment thinking about what option sounded the best.

There was a small pause as he looked at the time. "How about you come over to my place at 8 and we can get some dinner?" he suggested. He thought about trying to control her mind over the phone, however, decided against it. "There's a nice Italian place near my house," he mentioned, hoping it would help his suggestion.

As he waited for her response he continued to look through her record at the hospital. He was not at all surprised that she had a lot of positive reviews based on what he saw earlier. He was a bit surprised to see that she didn't date coworkers, though he wasn't sure if he would be considered one or not.

Checking her watch Angie saw that it was already quarter to eight, but that shouldn't be a problem for her. "That sounds great, if you give me the address I'll be there almost before you know it."

Scrambling in her purse Angela pulled out a notepad and pen and quickly scribbled down the information as Barry gave it to her. The place was halfway across town, and with the evening rush just starting it'd normally take almost an hour and a half to reach the apartment.

Darting down into an alleyway, being careful bot to be seen by anyone who'd be paying any undue attention, Angela concentrated for a moment and Slide over to the street Barry had given her, appearing in a very similar alleyway to the one she'd just left. Stepping out onto the sidewalk she quickly made her way upto the door and pressed the buzzer.

For a few moments a shadow of doubt crossed her mind and the young paramedic began to wonder if she was doing the right thing. Now's your chance, the little voice in her head said, If you leave now you can always pretend you were caught in traffic, or that you took the address down wrong.

Barry was dressed in his pants with his shoes on. He had a button-up shirt on him that wasn't buttoned yet. As he made his way to the door he opened it and saw Angela. "You got here fast," he stated. "Please, come in," he said as he took her hand and escorted her in his house.

Though it wasn't grand, it was still a nice two story house with plenty of room. He led her to the living room, holding her hand. "Can I get you something to drink?" Barry asked as he started to make his way to the kitchen.

While making his way to the kitchen, he took a small glance at Angela, hoping she didn't notice. He thought she did a good job cleaning up as he looked.

Barry began to slowly probe at her mind. He hoped that the amount of stress and strain put on it earlier with working so hard would help with making it offer little resistance. "So tell me about yourself, Angela," he said as he got to the fridge.

As she stepped through the entrance hall Angela couldn't help but be impressed with the size of the young doctor's house, and the memory of her dingy little three room apartment soured in her mind even more than usually.

Following her host into the living room Angela suddenly realised she was still wearing her paramedic uniform, complete with blood stains and viscera from the bomb site. With a quick wave of her hand the medic summon forth just enough power to miraculously clean her clothing, returning it to the spotless unsullied state it had been in when she'd put it on the few long hours earlier.

"Can I get you something to drink?"
For a moment Angie considered her options. Strictly speaking she was still on call, and really should be keeping herself fresh and ready for duty, but after having worked a double shift in an emergency zone the paramedic needed to unwind a little. "I'll take something fruity, with a kick," she replied, titling her hand in a gesture meant to show she meant a cocktail of some sort. She wasn't too fussed with exactly what she'd be served with, just as long as it was refreshing and relaxing.

"So tell me about yourself, Angela,"
As soon as he asked the question Angela felt the Nova force stirring in her mind, but quickly suppressed it. The man was only being sociable after all, and he didn't mean her any harm as far as she could tell. The buzzing in her head was enough of a distraction to make Angie feel a little tense though, and she didn't want there to be any sort of accident which would ruin the mood, and Barry's health.

"You mentioned an Italian place? I thought we'd be heading out for a meal together?" She asked, slightly perturbed by the stranger's demeanor. Hopefully it was just an echo of the Nova force's paranoid reaction, but Angela wanted to be sure everything was secure before lowering her guard too much. After all she'd only met Barry a few hours ago, and beyond his name and profession knew practically nothing about him.

Barry started to make a piña colada as he went to the fridge. "Yeah, we're still going to get dinner," he announced as he came back with a drink for her. "I just figured why not get a small drink first," he told her as he reappeared in the living room with her drink.

As soon as he handed it to her he started to button up his shirt. He continued to try to read her mind as they talked. "If you want I can put the drink back and we can head out now," Barry suggested. He figured that she was going to be drinking tonight anyway so why not start early to help lower her inhibitions.

"No, that's okay. I could use a little something to help calm myself down a little," Angie replied with a smile. "It's been a bit of a hectic day, as you know."

As Barry buttoned himself up Angela couldn't help but watch his dexterous hands as they made their way up the row of buttons. The six pack he'd had on display was impressive, but for the paramedic the skillful play of the doctor's fingers at work was far more appealing. There was just something about a man's strong, powerful hands which made her go weak at the knees.

Quickly taking a deep sip of the piña colada, not really tasting it as she gulped the alcohol own, Angela turned her attention away from her new friend and looked out of the window overlooking the city. "This is a great place you have here," she said casually, waiting for her host to make the next move. "I'm sure all the girls love it when you bring them here."

Barry walked slowly, moving behind her as she looked out the window while taking several larger sips than normal. He decided to keep his hands to himself, at least for now. "Yes, it is a very nice view," he replied. "It does come with a price though. Waking up earlier than I care for since traffic is terrible here."

He watched as she quickly finished her drink. Angela was right, though, the view was very nice. He could tell her mind was getting weaker as he heard a faint thought in her mind mention how nice it would be to live in a place like this than her apartment. He was glad that some progress was being made on her extremely well guarded mind.

When she mentioned him bringing a lot of girls here he replied, "I wouldn't know. I don't act like some kind of playboy that goes through people like that," he said with a small stern voice. "Are you ready to go?" Barry asked as he made his way next to her and offered her his hand.

Setting her empty glass aside Angela took the offered hand with a smile. Barry seemed nice enough, but the echo of the Nova force inside her mind was still pushing back against her, warning her that something wasn't quite right about him.

As they stepped out of the front door Angela stumbled slightly. "Whoa," she called out, tumbling into Barry's arms, "I think that drink went to my head a little faster than I was expecting." She said with a giggle, immediately ashamed that she was acting so girly around a guy she hardly knew.

It had been a long time since Angela had last dated anyone, let alone gone further than simply sharing a meal and a taxi ride home with them, and for some reason her nervousness was coming out as a childish flirting which was sure to get her into trouble later.

Flicking her hair back behind her ear and tilting her head forwards Angie glanced down the road first one way then the other before turning back towards the big, strong man beside her. "So, which way from here?" She asked, her lips pouting.

Barry made sure to hold Angela carefully as she stumbled a little. "Careful," he said as they walked to his car. He helped her in and then walked around to the other side and got in.

It was only a few minutes driving before they got to the restaurant and parked. Luckily, the wait was very short. "So, tell me about yourself," Barry asked as they waited to be seated. He didn't think that Angela would tell him anything about her power, but stranger things have happened.

As they sat down he ordered a simple red wine for them. "If you have any questions about me feel free to ask," he said as they looked over their menus.

Feeling a thrill as she felt Barry's strong hand taking hold of her Angela blushed and turned her face away, playing with a loose lock of hair as she smiled to herself in the darkness as she let him lead her down to the waiting car. "Thanks for that, I don't know what's wrong with me tonight," she lied, knowing exactly what the problem was.

She was horny for this man, and she could already feel the blood pumping between her legs even as he helped her into the passenger side of the car. Spreading her legs a little wider than was required to lower herself into the seat Angela tried to get the tight paramedic uniform to rest a little easier against her crotch, hoping the material wouldn't start to stain with her 'excitement' and scare off the sweet young man.

As they waited in the restaurant bar Angela knew that the situation couldn't go on as it was and quickly slipped out of her seat, smiling over at Barry for a moment. "I'm sorry but I really don't feel comfortable like this," she said, waving her hand down at her uniform before continuing the gesture to take in the posh restaurant and the other, beautifully dressed women moving around the room. "If you'll just give me one second, I'll see if I can rustle something better up for you."

Turning away Angela quickly made her way to the bathroom and locked herself in a cubicle. Quickly she tried to recall what sort of dresses she'd seen in the restaurant a few moments before, picturing the details and designs in her head before waving her hands down in front of herself, rearranging the molecules of her uniform so they morphed and twisted into an entirely new shape.

Her first attempt was a disaster. Whether because of a wandering mind or her body's overdriven hormones the outfit came out looking more like a straightforward invitation to bed than something appropriate for a family restaurant, with the paramedic's breasts, ass and crotch all on full display. With a deep sigh, and focussing her mind a lot harder, Angela tried again. The second attempt was far better, the flowing black lines hugging over her curves in just the right places to accentuate her femininity while at the same time leaving the details to Barry's imagination. With a satisfied smile Angela quickly made her way back to the the bar and slipped herself onto the stool beside Barry.

Only when she crossed her knees did she remember that she'd forgotten to craft herself any underwear, and with a blush spreading over her cheeks as she felt the cool air brushing over her damp lips she quickly reached over for the cocktail waiting on the counter for her, taking a steadying sip before smiling over at her new friend. "I've been working as a paramedic at the hospital ever since graduating from medical school. I just love being able to help people when they need me the most, being there for them and helping to save their lives," she told him, finally responding to his inquiry. "How about you, what made you want to get into medicine?"

Barry watched as she excused herself. He did notice that she took her purse, which was understandable since they didn't really know each other that well. He continued to work on his drink as he waited.

A few moments later he watched as Angela came back. "Wow," he said as he looked her over. "I didn't think that you had a whole dress in your bag," he told her. He knew that he wasn't going to mention the supernatural surge of energy that he felt, probably a she was changing.

"As far as me getting into medicine," he said before taking a small pause, "well it's been more traditional I guess. My father and grandfather were both doctors." He watched as they looked over the menus. "Though I didn't expect it to be this crazy in the city."

Gesturing down at her outfit in what she hoped was a casual manner, her hand lingering for a moment longer than was necessary down in her lap, Angela smiled at her companion. "I'm a city girl, born and bred, and we city girls have to be prepared for anything."

As she watched him carefully Angela couldn't help but smile at the charming man. "You're a country boy then? Grew up in a small town dreaming of the big city lights with your mother warning you about the naughty girls who lived there?"

Pausing for a moment the off-duty paramedic took a sip from the cocktail that was still sitting on the counter, before wondering if it was the same one as before or if Barry had ordered a fresh one for her while waiting on her little changing act.

Barry watched as he saw Angela look at the glass. "It's a fresh drink," he chimed in, "the other one was almost empty so I got you a new one." He moved a little closer to her as he started to respond to her inclination that he was a country boy.

"Well, I guess it would be considered country for the most part," he told her, though it was a partial lie. He looked at her, hos eyes matching hers as he stared into them. "Besides, who said it was only city girls that were naughty?" Barry asked with a playful demeanor. "I think some of the country girls might be just as naughty as you let on."

As he waited for her response he started to look over the menu. And besides already knowing what he wanted to eat, he also knew he wanted the lovely lady next to him. Not only for her body and looks, but also for her power.

Leaning forwards Angie ran her fingers own Barry's arm before letting her hand come to rest on top of his. "So, what's the naughtiest thing your country girls ever did for you?" She asked in a low whisper, her eyes darting sideways for a moment to make sure no-one else was close enough to overhear their conversation. "Just how much of a bad boy are you, Dr Westwood?"

In her pose Angela's top was hugging her breasts tightly, almost spilling out as her cleavage pressed against the corset of her dress. She could feel the pressure against her chest, and knew what it must look like from Barry's point of view, but that just made the act all the more delicious.
