To the fairys he gave the task of gifting out the Christmas Trees.
The Head Fairy tells Santa there is one tree left and what should she do with it.
Santa says ........stick it up yer.........
And low and behold so it came to pass that fairies are put ontop of the tree!

Sometimes I am really grateful that I grew up with lunchboxes being the norm!
