UGH I feel so sick! I just forced myself to eat 3 servings of cottage cheese at once!

My nutritionist says I need to eat 1 and a half cups of cottage cheese at a time even though one serving is 1/2 cup...so I'm trying to listen and I made myself eat it but now I feel so sick...but at least I got my protein intake up, right? I got 86 g of protein today. Not that bad...hopefully I can get my lean weight back up by next week. I just downed:

270 calories
3 g of fat
9 carbs
48 g of protein

not too bad...but I feel like I'm going to puke LOL
 
Do you think it would give me the same benefit if I ate 1/2 cup, 3 times a day?
 
More than likely, but wouldn't a protein shake work better? I like cottage cheese but choking down a cup and a half?

the protein shakes I've tried are really gross....plus they tend to have more calories and stuff than cottage cheese...and less protein...I need 40+ g of protein each meal...
 
Oh and that is a myth about not eating after 8 pm b/c in the hospital we ate at 8:15 every night...which was 45 minutes before bed time and most of the girls would take the full 40 minutes to finish the snack.
 
When I told the nutritionist that she said it was a myth though :mad: I don't trust them. LOL
