UFO talk

You know, the other day I caught the joe rogan Bob lazar experience and it was very interesting. I’ll probably go down the rabbit hole a bit since we’re still mostly home bound.

Nothing rabbit hole about UFOs AND their occupants. Anyone want to insist “they’re ours” ?

I didn’t mean rabbit hole in that sense. Deep dive would have been better.

The rogan interview with the tic tac ufo pilot was also good. I plan on seeing the Jeremy corbel documentary but comments say some of the glitzy/cheesy graphic detract from the message.

There is so much information, literally centuries of information. The “tic tac” news is like a very limited hangout. ‘Course former Canadian defense minister Paul Hellyer is just a silly old man.

Kickass band from the ‘70s. AC/DC used to open for them.

I don't know does it count as UFO, as it is somewhat well known, but the summer solstice night two years ago, I saw the famous Aurora aircraft, the almost perfect black triangle. I was sceptical about its existence until then, but it matched descriptions so perfectly it hardly could have been anything else. Curiously, it seemingly took off from a rather absurd point in relative nothingness within Latvia, although it's hard to judge distance to three intense orange points of light. What seemed vertical takeoff might be optical illusion as it soon become apparent it moved almost perfectly directly towards us. Once reached altitude it went completely dark and flew over still gaining altitude and soon blending into to the light screen of low clouds at tremendous speed in perfect silence.

So, I still have my doubts (not the type to even believe my own eyes unconditionally), but it's quite apparent some aircraft with undisclosed capabilities do exist. Who operates those machines is whole another question. From what else I think knowing or believe, I'm quite sure the one I saw is "ours" at least in the more broad sense.

Possible others... "Outer space aliens" is such an outlandish hypothesis. The distances in universe and the speed limit of relativistic movements make it almost impossible. Or require FTL travel. Very notion it could be after all possible and reconcilable with causality paradoxes it almost necessarily creates would of course be very encouraging out of itself.

I'm rather proponent of the "long" history. I believe humankind had already either mastered spacecraft at least once already or come in close contact with someone who did, historically, but quite a long time ago. I read classical Greek and Rome history as decadence and decay of the last remains of the "previous" great civilization, of course with simultaneous new developments and limited recovery (but Roman empire in its entirety was a robber state that did bring more destruction than good).

While still outlandish, a possible contact with the representatives of the people "from before" isn't out of consideration. Sufficiently advanced outpost could remain hidden all the way up to mid-twenty century when the luddites "outside" independently grew technology advanced enough to make it increasingly difficult. Another possibility could be, indeed, a deep space exploration mission returning (a time frame of 3000 to 12000+ years for the roundtrip offer quite few interesting possibilities).

It doesn't mean those people have answers for our problems or even necessarily have understanding of the technology they operate themselves, it could easily be no more than cult repeating ceremonial institutions itself, by now. Of course any such hypothesis also require a rather widespread conspiracy to guard the secrecy of the "ancients." Not the hardest sell, but still plenty problematic to believe. Not that much better than any true aliens either, just personally slightly more plausible.

Like driving slowly past a car crash, yes?

About so. And, supposedly, sometimes even engaging in seemingly absurd, and from the self-security perspective dangerous experiments rather in line of ignobel laureates like "how Antarctic penguins react to unknown noises." (Like the trolling of Brazilian (?) airports I read about five or so years ago.)

Why do UFO sightings always increase during times of international unrest?

Exactly. Or over nuclear power plants.

It's clear that the disks that so many people saw Are flying space objects, not mass hysteria or mirages, weather balloons or whatever.
I mean, CIA admitted that the ++ UFO sightings over Russia, during the 50's and 60's were in fact new technology spy planes.

The dilemma is: are/were they all spy planes /drone technology undisclosed to the public,
or were some of them alien aircrafts (flown by aliens or based on alien technology - see jomar's post about the Joe Rogan/Bob Lazar interview )

This.

We know next to nothing about what we call space/time. It’s obvious that there are other beings here. The flying saucers have been seen for centuries. Many, many credible people have made reports. Yet, we confidently proclaim the impossibility of any extra terrestrial beings coming here.
