Uber used as Pied-a-terre

Hot couple carrying on a secret affair without a place to meet, turn to hiring the same uber every week to carry out their tryst in the back. Driver gets to watch as his tip.

Twist: it works well week after week, until the driver wants to participate. His advances are rebuffed. He blackmails the couple with threats of sending the secret videos he's been recording to their spouses.

Reminds me of something similar that happened where I live: same taxi or uber got used for a state level politician when she was fucking people other than her husband (which apparently she did on at least a weekly basis).

Now the driver wasn’t trying to join in but then the representative started using the ole “family values” argument for abortion, anti LGBT laws, so the driver went public with all the affairs the “family values” rep had during her time in the capitol.

Maybe stick the story in the future and the blackmail is all done electronically. They have video from inside the auto-cab, although such things are illegal. The plot includes tracking down the blackmailer through the seedy underbelly of town and deal with him/her.

I see potential in your completely unrealistic idea. A story for the sci-fi section, but a story nonetheless.
Where can we take it from there? What happens after the driver goes public?

Or what if it’s an AI cab but the blackmailer IS the cab? So as the couple asks how that would even work, the seats turn around and technological tentacles sprout up
