Thanks to the tax cuts for the rich and infamous, the U.S. ran a $75 billion budget deficit in June, a month which traditionally records a surplus as both corporations and people submit their tax payments.
Only 12 times in the last 64 years has the U.S. recorded a budget deficit in June.
At the current deficit rate, the U.S. will have a $739 billion budget deficit for the fiscal year, 19% higher than last year.
Tax payments by corporations fell 33 percent year over year.
These figures do not include the recently imposed tariffs which will surely add to the growing deficit and debt.
