Hmm. I don't understand why that would happen. Why deny that a nation's army has an intelligence unit?

Incidentally, a close family member was in Mossad, and the arguments/'facts" presented so far bear no familiarity to that person's experience.

Because they were afforded much more maneuverability, when the world didn’t recognize that Israel even *had* one.

Think about how much more dangerous the CIA would be if we didn’t know they existed.

Even when it was obvious to the world in ’76 that Israel had an elaborate spy network, Israel wouldn’t officially acknowledge that for years to come.
