having brown skin. Sidd Bikkannavar works at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He's a U.S. born citizen and has worked at JPL for a decade. He's even enrolled in the Global Entry which allows people who have undergone background checks to enter/return to the country more easily.

He had returned from Chile after competing in a solar car race but was stopped and detained at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston by a Customs agent who demanded he unlock his phone.

Problem was, the phone wasn't his. It was NASA's phone and contained information which should not be shared. Bikkannavar showed the agent the JPL barcode but the agent didn't care. Them's the rules.

Eventually he did unlock the phone, which was taken from his presence so who knows what information was stolen, and made to give up his PIN. When he returned to work he informed his IT department who was not happy with the thuggery at the airport.

Welcome to the world of Trump who has ramped up the Gestapo tactics against U.S. citizens to a new level.

Glad to hear US citizens are suffering just like friends and allies like Canadian citizens.

Next time I cross the border, I am going drape myself in sheets and pretend not speak English or French.
