In case you don't know how it works, for countries to accept refugees they can only accept refugees who actually apply for refugee status.

Please post the evidence you have that Syrian's are applying for refugee status to the US proportionate to the religious makeup of Syria.

Prior to that, Syria was a relatively safe place for Christians to live, minimal persecution by radicals because Assad protected them.

The Refugee program is run by the UN, you have to be in a UN run refugee camp to apply for refugee status. Christians fleeing Syria are not going to UN run refugee camps because Muslims just love Christians. hence the very low number of applications.

I can admit the truth that a headline on a partisan web site is isn't any sort of evidence.

The Refugee program is run by the UN, you have to be in a UN run refugee camp to apply for refugee status. Christians fleeing Syria are not going to UN run refugee camps because Muslims just love Christians. hence the very low number of applications.

Surely you don't mean the low percentage of christians could be because of the low percentage of chirstians applying for refugee status.

That's what happens when you take boots on the ground off the table while arming the moderate wings of al Qaeda to go fight the only person(s) who was (were) keeping the region peaceful by the use of what our dear sweet concerned liberals referred to as "brutality."

Syria was a beautiful country and a wonderful people. Of all the countries I wanted to go back to to spend more time in, Syria was my number one. It will never be the same.
