Yes folks, you heard it here first. No less a world class intellectual than Nelson Mandella has proclaimed the U.S. a threat to world peace.

If only the U.S. did not exist the Huttos would love the Tutsi's. Saddam would no longer be killing the Kurds and the North and South Koreans would lay down their arms and rush across the border for a group hug. China would no longer have their eye on eastern Siberia, and Isreal and the Palastinians would find common ground and start to inter-marry. India and Pakistan would kiss and make up and Turkey and Greece would just 'get along'.
It's all our fault folks. No doubt about it. I think all us Americans should just roll over and die. Or dedicate our live to the service of the rest of the world that we've suppressed so long. I'm sure that by giving up all our worldly possesions we will find true happiness and the rest of the world will care for us and ours as befitting our sacrifice.
I suggest that we prostrate ourselves before the family of nations and allow them to vote on our fate. Weighted by population of course, can't be un-democratic about this. Just think. No more politics. We will no longer be burdened with voting. And because of our vows of servitude, all taxes levied will be not only be appreciated, but rejoiced upon as our due pennence for the sins that we've commited.
As we sell ourselves into bondage, we so dedicate our children as well. After all, it's only fair isn't it? We have so much to make ammends for.
I would willingly subjugate myself for the sins of the past as seen through the eyes of others, wouldn't you? And if not, why not? It is the correct way to repay the world for all of the rapine and pillage that we, as Americans, have perpetrated.
We must suffer the suffering of the afflicted before we can truly understand their plight. To really know the feeling of being victimized by a power so irresistable that there is no reasonable recourse but capitulation.
I know that this is a great sacrifice that I ask of you, but world opinion is on my side. And one cannot ignore that. Opinion poll, after opinion poll conducted in China, Burma, N. Korea, all of the Muslim world, a great deal of Europe and S. America will surely vindicate my position. And it is the opinion of others that count more than anything else. We must bow down before world opinion. To do otherwise would make us individuals and free and that is not what is allowed today.
