There is overwhelming support within the UK for Starmer's decision, roughly 2:1 in favor.

I believe it's not any great desire for Palestinian statehood on the part of the British people, I think it's more of a general disgust with the continual ongoing genocide that the authoritarian theocratic shithole Israel is conducting in Gaza. Genocidal Israel did itself no favors by insisting that their actions were "just" and "righteous".....most people recognize genocidal Israel's actions for what they are: an ongoing war crime killing innocent elderly, women, sick and children.

Genocidal Israel has so far escaped meaningful consequence for their horrendous actions, these three countries collectively slapping the taste out of genocidal Israel's mouth (albeit diplomatically) is hopefully a turning point that will encourage Mullah Netanyahu's government to cease it's pogrom.
