I see what you mean, but I have learned short hand on here and I can't stop it. And for 30 years I had to type that way,"Old Habit's die Hard".

Writing is not shorthand, nor is it IRC
If we are going to create anything fit to read for a general public, we have to get out of any bad habits we've developed from IRC, BBSs, chatrooms, instant messaging, etc. Go back to a decent high school grammar textbook (which will tell you that there are no apostrophes in plurals, among other things).
If you're doing real writing, take a little time and get it right. There are people out there in chyoo-land who have fine ideas, but write only slightly better than my child in elementary school. Ya gotta have both, for the fiction; I certainly don't expect you to keep to the same standards here on the fora. (I hold myself to a higher standard, as a professional writer; but that's a whole 'nother can of threads.)
