Wondering if it could be harmful to wrap our small ropes around my wife nipples, since she is currently breastfeeding. Could it clog a duct?

A few minutes of pleasure could cost your wife long-term grief. Yes, you could bruise a milk duct. Take care of the baby's needs first, your pleasure is secondary.
