That nuclear plant story where the reactor defends itself by ray gunning out a massive path in a something mile radius and cause massive survival damage to the earth? I would LOVE! to "see" your re-write for the nano content if not any other excuse to re-write this splendig semi sci-fi story. Will the woman invesigator survive or did she go kaboom with the trailer unit when the power plant shut down the camera visuals and started the destruction power up sequence? Quesla

You mean someone actually read that thing?

rewriting a story is hard. Memory and flow seem to act against each other. You'd think it would be easy but it never comes even close to what you wrote the first time. Back when I first started writing I lost the sequel to my first novel to a bad computer disk. I've tried a half dozen time to recreate the original. Each time, it came out a different story.

Everyone in the opening, which you read, dies. The actual story starts two generations farther down the road.

It's been a couple of years since I've even looked at this part, so maybe. I have the story arc in mind but I'm trying not to think about it until November 1. Maybe I won't over analysis it and it will flow.

We'll see and I'll let you know what comes of it.
