Two years gone

It's two years since Mathgirl posted anything. I miss her.
One aspect of her absence is The Dubious Dictionary only getting to the end of "C".

I've appointed a "Lit buddy" who has complete personally identifying contact info for me and will inform anyone who cares what my status is should I disappear like Mathgirl. I recommend this. As shereads so poignantly put it on the Colly thread: "The internet is a wonderful, terrible place to make friends. Some of us, shy or just in need of a break from 'real-world' intimacy, come here believing we can enjoy the special people we meet without being vulnerable to them. Then someone like Colly proves us wrong."

I'm no Colly and never will be, but I wouldn't want to disappear without a trace, and don't want any of you to, either.

I am geniuinely worried.

When last we heard, her heath was really bad just as she was starting her life as a newly married young woman. From all I heard, she was a highly intelligent woman with a lot to offer.

I fear for her.

She is before my time, but here's an idea: A little amateur sleuthing. Those who knew here put their heads together and build a profile, assembling all the biographical details you can remember. Ted presented two: her heath was really bad just as she was starting her life as a newly married young woman. Not very helpful, but a start. When you have as much info as you can assemble it may generate some ideas.

Or maybe someone already has her name and phone number.

Trust me Roxanne, you won't find her. She and Perdita were very close friends and I know Pear's tried a hell of a lot to find her.

I fear the worst, as I doubt she would've abandoned her closest friends without a word.
