Grace is the one who pulled this thread up. 1999 was the year of the first, and last, post before Grace in 2003.

Not everyone here was a member of Lit in 1999. That's why I've pulled up threads that interest me. Some of you are as new as 2003. Without digging into the archives yourself you could be missing out on some good things. Things you may not have considered before.

Just because a thread is old it doesn't mean it's bad.

When I hit 'Post Reply', I thought of mentioning the idea of a running list of story ideas. It wouldn't downplay the need to post ideas on the board, but could serve as a list for authors/readers to refer to as something they might not have tried yet (and for some - imagined).

As the page loaded, I tried to imagine the list. Not only would it be huge, but the sub-categorization (Hetero > Missionary > Female muff-eating > Penetrated woman getting tits zapped by Cattle Prod > Woman getting eaten out sucking on watermelon flavored lolli-pop) would just be a nightmare.

So, nevermind.

That is why there is a degree course at the University of Sussex (UK) in Klingon as a modern language.

It surprised me too, but the amount of work that went into creating Klingon was immense; comparable to the original Esperanto and Interglossa.
