What can happen is that the husband tries to prove to his wife that he is a changed man. In the mean time, she learns how exciting it is to cheat and not get caught. She realize how addictive the excitment of cheating must have been to her husband.

The wife decides to spend a night with her husband in a motel room to see if they could patch things up. She choice the exact motel room that she first found her husband cheating in.

She found the encounter with her husband was more exciting because of her thoughts of him having sex with the woman who she concidered as her best friend in the very same bed.
