Twice in one week!

I sure as hell am on a roll. Someone e-mailed me to today with a question concerning more possible plagiarism. So I checked it out and sure enough, there was more.

Okay, now here's what clinches this case: the girl in question took my story, The Artist's Wolf, changed the title and the main chracter names to make it a fanfiction of some TV show called Once and Again, and posted it in several place. Unfortunately for her, she was too dumb to know what find/replace is. In manually trying to change all the names, she missed some, which is what tipped folks off. Dumbass.

But hey! I've got a few new readers out of this! It's free advertisement that you gotta whack with a mallet every now and then. She took it down from several places quite quickly, including her own website. I did post a comment on her blog. Whether or not folks got a chance to read it...well, anyone who did will probably never go near her work again.

But damn, man, if you gotta steal instead of writing your own work, even if you do write some of your own work, you just don't deserve readers. It's not just wrong to who you stole from, it's wrong to them, too.

print the stories out on hard copy and mail them certified to yourself. Then they are considered copyrighted to you and maybe you can do something about her then. Good luck.
