I wonder how to classify a man who likes shemales.

I wonder, because I do it myself, but I still don't feel gay nor bisexual. When I see pictures of a shemale, it's important that he/she is feminine, (and with a nice dick). I also don't like to see pictures of them with some cheesy guy -- just like I don't like to see pictures of women with other guys.
(The whole thing is probably something I could do without. I didn't ask to become *that* perverted either)

Anyway, my theory is that In between "hetero" and "bisexual" people who likes shemales come.

Does anyone have any perspectives on this?

I think there's some credibility to your hypothesis. I know guys who are very clear about having no gay or bi interest who still seem fascinated by a really sexy (i.e.-feminine) looking TV pic. Then again, that may just where they draw the line to be "safe" in our society. Food for thought. Thanks for posting it.
