Gals do you have any special things that turn you off about men...
I should have said does fat turn you off...I'm not talking a few extra lbs...but someone that really needs to go on a dickie-do diet..because he cant see what his dickie do!!!
Man seem to think women need to keep themselves in shape..so why doesnt that work both ways??

Now I'm not talking about anyone I have seen on here..so far they are all very very HOT!!! NICE BODS...

another thing that really turns me off is unpleasant body odor...from any part of the body...but men really need to be aware of this too...nothing turns me off faster than bad breath...or bad smelling areas..you gals know what I'm talking about....you want me to go down on that...it better be clean and smelling good!!!
:p :p

men who don't have table manners are a definate NO-NO. I'm big on table manners.
Also personal hygiene - that HAS to be okay.

Halo :rose:

I agree with you Wildrose...and Littledevilwithahalo.......

if a guy smells bad it is a turn off...... I also get turned off from a guy who *brags* about being all that......

OMG...I know what you mean...a man who talks and talks and talks about himself....

I had such a date from hell last week....I lasted thru 3 hrs of constant chatter about himself..needless to say..I made it thru dinner and he didnt get invited in for dessert!!!!!

Pay a little attention to your date men!!! LOL..... :rose:

For me, its a big turn-off if the guy is too pushy, if I say I don't want to kiss you I DON'T, if I say I don't want to sleep with you yet I DON'T (AND WON'T) lol Just do what I say! lol :D But seriously, I don't like to feel pressured.

Lynn

Hmmmmmmmm I have few turn offs - but the things that piss me right off - are men who pressure (I'm with you BBWlynn - :) ) and men who dominate the relationship (I don't mean with a set of handcuffs and a smacky stick...LOL - ) I mean men who decide on everything! And it has to be done their way...total put off!

As for the weight thing - I adore big men...total turn on - ooooohhh - YES! :p

Sorry - didn't mean to hijack the thread...my mind just kind of wondered...:D

Poor hygiene is a real turn off. However, I don't mind that mussed up look, untucked shirt, long hair seemingly unkempt.

I would only add, or rather stress, teeth. If I look at a guy for the first time and his pearly whites are rotting due to neglect, or plaque laden, the date is over. I don't need perfection, but there is a point at which I can't over come my hang up for teeth.

:D

let's see....

clean teeth...clean body .mind...consider my dates feelings...nice hair, not too combed...I suppose shopping with her would come next....these are all the things a good mum teaches her boy...

Lordy... I met a man yesterday who wore an aftershave that reminded me of cheap incense AND it was a hot day and he can't have used a deodorant... his underarm odour made me nauseous.

I really wondered how he expected me to be attraced to him, when I couldn't even get close to him for the smell!!

Yuck !!

.......wildrose: what kind of dessert had you prepared..:p :p : .....if ya got any left i wouldn't mind having some;) ..if you don't have any leftovers, how about a cream pie..:p :  ..ethan

I had a date that we had lunch, then coffee at a bookstore and the guy looked in my eyes maybe 5 times.

There is nothing more annoying than a man that looks at everything but you!!

And he wanted to see me again too!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

About the teeth thing...

...is it that you prefer them bright white?...what about a man with great teeth, and no breath problems, but whose teeth are a normal yellowed...not banana-yellow or brownish, just not bleached or otherwise chemically treated?

Please comment

OH , no! To think everyone my age is going to have a super model bleachy smile is unrealistic, and those smiles are false.

I just don't like teeth that have gaping cavities in the front or that have been decayed to the point where there is very little tooth yet! And yes, I have run into this :D

Of course, here in the north country, they just installed indoor plumbing last week. Flouridation should begin next year sometime ! hehehe

Now Ethan....my dessert never has to be prepared...it's constanly available....and you sure did learn how to use those symbols:p I think I unleashed a montster here...LOL

Teeth done have to be perfect...but good mouth odor is very important if you plan to do much kissing...
Sounds like we have all had some dates from hell...

Honeygirl...what is there about big men?? I was talking big bellies...that turns me off..I dont mind a nicely proportioned big man....but if they have to move a roll of fat to find it!!!!:p :p
I'm out of there!!!

Pay attention to the women if you want a repeat...is the message I'm getting ...:p ;)

whew...

...I was halfway out the door to my dentist's office.

Hmmm, maybe I'll go anyway...there is that big-busted 40-or-so hygienist, and it amazes me how often she "accidentally" brushes against me or gives me a view...

My imagination? I think not

Any guy or girl for that matter who does not listen to my part of the conversation turns me off entirely.

Yes, Rose. Isn't it amazing to be with a man who wants to know you, but pays attention to everything else in the room BUT you?

And of course, as Luv2watch2 states, hygiene is very important, "all the things a good Mum teaches". Don't we all clean up nicely before our dates??

 :rose:

Bad dental hygiene turns me off everytime. Brush your teeth and at least get them cleaned once( as a minimum) a year! Some dental schools do it for free, or at least for a nominal fee.

There is nothing more disgusting than seeing someone leaning forward to kiss you with fungi on their teeth!

Cologne & Aftershave

And guys, please lay off the aftershave and cologne, I do!

And don't use it to mask the fact that you neglected to shower and/or wash!

Too much perfume is a real turn off for me. And if you have things like asthma or allergies, that heavy scent is just too much (of a bad thing!)

I personally like to get a whiff of masculine, clean natural skin!

Hey Wildrose - (sorry I can't quote you - for some reason, I can't...I keep getting an error message... :( )

Anyway - you asked about my post regarding big men...ahhhhhhhh - yes! There's nothing I love more than a man with a belly - of course, if he doesn't have one, I'm not going to be a tart, and fatten him up - but ohhhhhhh - love to rub my hands over the belly of a nicely rounded man...:p Heaven...

Again - if he doesn't have one - that's cool...but it's certainly not a turn off for me if he does. ;) It's my `thing' I guess. :)

Honeygirl...dont feel bad so far I havent mastered that yet either...

I dont mind a little extra muscle on a man......just the fact that he couldnt seem to find what he was looking for!!!! and that turned me off when he had to lift the roll to find it!!!!

I dont go for skin and bones either..but I dont want to be smashed either..haha and at 5-5 and 112lbs......I have to be careful! LOL

but honey thats what makes the world go round..it would be pretty boring if we all went after the same thing...:rose:

Ladies.....ladies

your standards are too low. In reading this thread, I am surprised that your minimum qualifications are men that maintain basic hygiene, are not morbidly obese and can hold a two way conversation. If I held myself to these standards, my mother would be sorely disappointed in me (and I would be disappointed in myself).

Men should be well groomed head to toe, reasonably physically fit and above all, a gentleman (and all that entails). We should be able to bring a little more to the table than a toothbrush, a bar of soap and a two minute attention span.
