Update: this kinda has turned into my music blog. Feel free though to join in. 🤘

Up for yet another music thread? Me, too.
(and, in the words of Van Halen, fair warning, I have another idea but that's for another time)

Post a song title and offer a link
(always a plus to offer commentary about the song)

Next poster weighs in, and then offers his or her title and a link.

Here's mine to start:

Ten Years After: I'd Love to Change the World
(this song is tucked away in my heart)

Change the Dial :rose:

Rainbow: Long Live Rock N Roll

https://youtu.be/bg_g_8HDcrg

(back in the day when you could elbow the stage. One of my anthems. Is what the devil horns stand for, Dio said. \m/ And then there's Blackmore. All good)

Change the Dial :rose:

Led Zeppelin: How Many More Times

https://youtu.be/wEPog_WdPE4
(I'd like to introduce Led Zeppelin to you. Dazed & Confused already represented here. Here is another from Zeppelin 1, perhaps the most sensual album ever!)

One More Time!
(Ya know, one of my guys, Stevie Ray Vaughan, took a likin' to this kid)

Stevie Ray Vaughan: Look at Little Sister

https://youtu.be/2HmLFyvFxTc
(SRV was so happy to be back on the road after his rehab. As you know he died in copter crash at 35. Healey, two decades later, at 41)

Nether Jeff Healy nor Randy Bachman made Rolling Stones top 100 guitarists, but Joey Ramona (ham fisted chord jockey) did. American Woman. Yes, the intro is five and a half minutes. Then Bachman destroys that Strat and Cummings peels paint with his voice

TurnItUp!

Edit: Healy's version of Like a Hurricane may be one of the best Neil Young covers ever.

Most tremendous video!

Burton had an incredible voice. And yes, Healey's rendition is beautiful all around, but he's done that with all the songs he covered. And, Jeff is so unique it would be very hard to put him amoung the regular guys so I'm not surprised he isn't listed. ;)

But, one more time! Turn. It. Up!

Playing the double neck guitar, Jeff Healey - When the Night Comes Falling from the Sky

My favourite line...."Who are you...that I should have to lie..."

Okay, connections.

I just quoted Ringo elsewhere, which brings up this little gem. Change the dial, and turn it up for "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT"

And here's Randy Bachmann explaining that famous opening chord on his CBC Radio show. It required 22 strings if I counted right...

Love Ringo! He was the one who coined the phrase " A Hard Days Night" after a very long night recording. Of course John & Paul ran with it.

But...Turn it up & sing it LOUD!
