We had turkey sandwiches for dinner last night. Thanks to leftovers being sent to absent family members, the turkey is all gone now. Of course the absent family members have enough turkey to last them two weeks, at least.
 
I hate turkey

It's the Al Gore of meat. Dry, bland, and you can never get rid of it.
We had two dinners yesterday with different friends. There is only so much you can do with a bird. We killed the wine instead.

The gravy is quite helpful with the dry and bland part. You need to convince someone to no-show so you can send them leftovers.

I always go for the dark meat. It's juicier. Our turkey this year was smoked and was absolutely delicious. We, too, killed the wine. :)
