Long winded piece. The site seems a bit slanted, imo, but none-the-less, any use of government agencies to push political opposition should be punished to the full extent of the law.
What is not clear from the piece, to me, is how much Sullivan truly did outside of pushing for an investigation based on unclear information, to government agencies. Did Sullivan know that the information was false at the time he made the claim? That seems to be the case based (funny enough) on a leak about the Grand Jury.
The rest seems to exist from businesses loosely tied to Sullivan, that were used for political spin and political marketing, by "leaking" to the media. In that case, they seem to have exaggerated information regarding a server that the FBI debunked early on.....much of that seems unethical action (possibly illegal) by Fusion GPS. Collecting IP addresses should be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
