We are not in a declared war with Russia. Biden has no authority to stop Tucker from interviewing any foreign leader. It's called freedom of the press.

While nobody is gonna do anything Freedom of the Press means you can publish and say what you want. There is no reason to assume it extends to traveling where you want instead of you know a Zoom. There are a crap load of people trying to ban TikTok in the US so clearly . . .what the fuck. As I always say nobody gives a shit about the Constitution until they are losing a debate.

Its not the traveling part. Assuming you believe Tucker Carlson is a legit member of the press and not an entertainer as Fox used as a legal defense before. Claiming no reasonable person would take him seriuosly. I might think he's a clown but I've seen his ratings. He clearly has an audience and more importantly he is an official member of the "press". This isn't like Beyonce performing for some Saudi Prince. Nobody follows Beyonce on Twitter or whatever for her political views.

So I think a strong argument could be made that Tucker giving an interview where he is going to soft ball if not outright praise Putin could be construed as promoting and validating an enemy of the United States. Like I said I don't think anybody is going to do anything about it and it would just look petty if they did.
