At 9:30 a.m., an individual jumped from the Hyatt Regency Hotel into the atrium area of the airport. A male in his 40s was found in critical condition and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Preliminary information suggests an apparent suicide.

Considering TSA agents went over a month without getting paid because of the con artist, during which time rent, gas, and a whole host of other bills piled up, it's a pretty good bet the stress of not being able to pay bills got to the man.

There were varying descriptions about what happened. TSA spokeswoman Jenny Burke identified the man as a TSA officer and said he fell from the balcony.
