A "Munch" is a US term (altho also used that way in other parts of the world) for a casual gathering in a public place of folks who're in to BDSM or folks who're interested in BDSM
It gives people a place to meet in a safe, non-confrontational manner to talk & explore & exchange ideas
The name "Munch" comes from it being frequently held in a large restaurant's banquet room or a mall food court or some similar facility where people can come & go with ease and have a bite to eat while they talk (not to mention having a mouthfull as an excuse NOT to talk LOL)

well i went, and only sat outside in the car for a couple minutes before going in. i was a bit scared seeing how i didn't know anybody when i walked thru the door.

it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable and start enjoying myself. all in all it was a good time, i ended up going to a diner after with a small group and we laughed and giggled for hours.

i will be going every month from now on

yes i have kept going, i have made 3 very dear friends in the group at this time. yes of course as with any group one belongs to there are going to be folks you clash with, but so far i have been able to ignore those and have fun.
the 3 friends that i have made have become friends outside the group, and we do 'Nilla things together, shop, hang out at a local bar, just spend time together. they have become a very important part of my life, no need to hold on to things that bother me because there is always somebody there for me to bounce things off of and get feedback. no more stress build up waiting for somebody i can talk face to face to about BDSM without having to explain anything more than the thing at hand.

all and all it was a complete positive
