There was a story posted on Lit some time ago, and I forgot to save/bookmark it and it's been driving me a little nuts trying to find it.
The story centered around a kingdom, where the Queen had several daughters, but one son. The "prince" had just reached his majority, and because of his talent for magic he was needed in a war against some other nation. However, before he was to leave to do his duty, the Queen had him return to his home and have sex with herself and all of his sisters, to better the chance of continuing the "bloodline" trait of magic. All of the sisters had very different personalities -- outgoing, reserved, bookish, etc. -- and ultimately the result was each of them did produce a child, but the "prince" was apparently "MIA" during the war.
Anyone have any clue to the story's name, author, and if it can still be found here on Lit? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! -- SRS
