I'm trying to find a story that I read some time ago. In this story, the wife leaves the husband to take up with some artist that she met in a bookstore. The husband plants some surveillance equipment in the lovers house, and uses the information gained to ruin the relationship, and the life, of his wife's lover. I think in the end, a bunch of his friends "teach the guy a lesson", and he takes off.
Does anyone recall this story? I believe it was in "Loving Wives", and was by one of the more popular authors.
