Trying to find an old book...

There was a TV series called The Kindred in which the vampires described The Masquerade. Excellent show, apart from that dork C Thomas Howell playing a cop. The vampires all belonged to different clans, does that ring a bell?

...well, it's probably not all that old, but I read it 4 years ago at summer camp, so it's definitely of the past!

Pleeeeeeease help me out. I know there are enough here who drool over vampires that I stand a chance of figuring out the name of this book. So here's what I remember. It had a really common name--really, like "Erotica" or something. I think it was based on Vampire: The Masquerade, of which I don't know enough of to be much use; there were several plot arcs, one of which involving this vampire whose name began with L (Lucrecia? Now I'm getting my Final Fantasy confused with my vampires!) and was pretty badass with the fighting of other vamps for some reason. Other plot arcs involved a mayor's bisexual daughter, her step-brother who wanted to fuck her, and an online "romance" that led to a housewife getting tortured and raped to death and then brought back as a horrible deformed vamp-thingy. See, I remember all the fun parts--just not the name of the friggin book!

The big identifier is that the book was illustrated. It had perhaps 10, 15 black and white drawings, which compose the majority of my memory of this book. They ranged from naked poses of the characters to the vampire woman getting raped to this demon with a huge pierced penis. Fun stuff!

I tried in vain to search on Amazon and, God help me, even Google. Try searching "vampire erotica." Just try. It's funny, really. Pleease help me get the name of this book! Thanks!

Did you look at a site called Moonstone? It has several books titled "Vampire the Masquerade".

I tried... and I wish I hadn't. :/ Jeez there are a slew of books out there on that subject. I got lost in vampire-fantasy-sci-fi enthusiasts land for a couple of hours yesterday. Never thought I'd find my way out. And didn't find your book or anything resembling it. But I did find a book I really want to read. It's the first one on this page:
