Trying to find an author-Sci-fi non human

This author had posted a number of stories in nonhuman that were all in the same universe. The premise was a sci-fi background where humans had formed a federation with a number of species, that usually happened to be humanoid anthros(Cats, and so on). One particular story had a human soldier stranded on a planet with two females of an enemy species, and they work together, fall in love, etc.

The guy said he was going to sell the stories, but would keep free ones on here. I can't find a trace, so I guess that was a no go. Anyone knows the author, so I can find the stories on amazon or whatever pay site he went to?
