Trying to find a story... plz help

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this or not but I'm at a loss. I've tried the search feature and gone through many lists trying to find a story that I read when I first got to LIT a few months ago, to no avail.

The story is similar to Colleen Thomas's "Rebirth." a shy young lesbian woman has a crippled leg from being attacked at high school after coming out to another girl. She is disowned by her parents and is accepted into her uncles home. The attack left her withdrawn yet she she still works at her uncle's business. This is where she meets a woman who breaks down those barriers and gets the younger woman to meet at her hotel.

I believe that is the gist of the story. Thanks to anyone that can help.

A rose to keep

i believe the story you are looking for is called a rose to keep. However, i could not find it either it may have been deleted. The main characters name is rose I cant remember the other girls name but rose's aunt's name is rachel hope that helped.

Other character was named Sophia. She was an English businesswoman on a business trip, and Rose gave her a lift in her old car, that Rose and her uncle had restored. Dynamite story!

I believe I gave the story a good write-up on my "Embarras de Richesse" thread. Why the author pulled it I can't tell, as it was sweet, hot and really believable.

Thank-you all, for you nice comments. I am very flattered, almost to the point of giddiness, that anyone noticed when I had 'A Rose to Keep' taken down. I am also sorry to have caused anyone any trouble.

At the urging of my writing group and my characters, and with the encouragement of all the very nice responses that I received here, I've decided to try turning my short story into a full romance novel with the hopes of getting it published.

After some discussion with my group and getting opinions from my family members, I thought it was better to be safe and have the short story taken down in case it were to cause problems with trying to get the novel published.

Estragon - I hadn't found the forum when I got your comments, so I didn't know how to respond before....but thank you so much for you editorial critique! I found it helpful....as you could tell, I'm rather punctuation-challenged.

As much as i'm disappointed that the story is gone I'm just as excited that the story will be made into a full blown novel. The story struck a nerve with me as I can relate to Rose and her having felt that she was undeserving of love only to find the right person to convince her otherwise. So, Please, Please, Please......Please, keep me and the Literotica community updated on the progress of this great story so I know when to buy the book. Thank you for the story and for the amazing characters, and good luck with your endeavor.
