This is true, or you can send non anonymous feedback to the author from the story's page and it will go directly to their email they used setting up their lit profile. I had a female friend look me up after I left a previous site we were on. That's how she contacted me.

When I clicked on MB's profile name, and I was logged in, I did not get a screen where I could send feedback, which makes me wonder if the author has opted not to receive private feedback at all. Unless I missed something, which I might have.
