Try on a new Lit. persona

I want to help Og come up with his new identity.

I'm seeing something along the lines of Snoop Dog or PDiddy. Og, this will allow for short posts but it will require a certain amount of rhyming. Are you up for it? Can I be your confidante? Oh please, oh please! I'll start searching for new non-Og AVs right away.

I love this project.
I loved the idea and then began thinking of who I might be as a new virginal Lit. persona. Then I thought about new personas for others on the AH. So, I posit others joining in, either thinking up new I.D.'s for yourselves or others.

If the object is to be incognito then I can't use Mexchick, though I love the moniker enough to use it with my AV.

I could try GaucheGirl, but it would be quite an effort to uphold. Or YorkshireChick, but I don't think I could fake the syntax and vocabulary for more than a couple posts.

Dyevushka-slut is special to me. More anon,

Perdita

EDIT p.s. Dyevushka is Russian for girl. I think my AV would be a pic of one of the two fake lesbian Russian pop stars.

I think I'll try: BushTwins. My AV will be a pair of shot glasses...No one will ever guess it's me!

Hell, now I've spoiled it. Back to the drawing board.

That's funny.

I was just thinking of starting a thread asking for suggestions for changing my lit name. Something that doesn't sound like a personal ad:p

Dr Perry Cox? I did consider that, but decided I wasn't misanthropic enough and using a TV character's name is a bit passe.

I don't know who I am half of the time off-line either. To have to reinvent myself here would cause my brain to blow a fuse.

I did consider changing my name to TFCG though.

Hmmmmm

Hello Purdy darling, how about 'Pirates Booty' :rose:

Me I've got so many differing persona's depending on mood and state of alcoholic intoxication I don't need any more;) I know someone who does the way she's going on though:D

pops.............. Already twisted to fuck and looking to change bugger all.

Pops, I agree with you - don't change bugger all. You're my pirate forever!

Perdita

I can barely keep up with one Lit persona! I dunno how I'd manage another one. I suspect I'd screw up and post something using the wrong account. I actually did that on another message board (trying to keep some of my EverQuest characters unrelated to one another). Embarassing as hell, though I don't think anyone actually saw my screwup before I deleted the post.

I do like Dyevushka-slut, though, Perdita. It got me to thinking of what Russian names I might use. I could only get as far as Koshka or Kokoshka, though...must try to be more creative.

Mhari, you might enjoy this. I don't recall if you were here then. My story is near the end I think.

Bozhe moi, Perdita...I have tears running down my cheeks!

No, I wasn't here then, but I'm *so* sorry I wasn't! Thank you for pointing me to your story, now, though! :rose: :rose:

So tell me...how did a lovely Mexican rose such as you come to know so much of Russia??

Sorry I made you cry, ha ha; no, glad I did (I am always amazed that I can make anyone laugh).

I fell in love with Dostoevsky's works at 15. Later with the Russian ballet, music and opera. "Swan Lake" at 16 was a great escape for a Mexchick living in a housing project in Detroit, haha. Maybe 20 years ago I read a brief but enchanting book on pre-revolutionary Rossiya and went all out, reading bios. of the tsars, histories, books on the arts there, etc. Then I decided I wanted to read Pushkin in Russian so I took a year at night-school (got A's because the teacher 'showed' me the structure of the language). I took private lessons from a woman from Moscow but later what with a divorce and my young sons, etc. I had to give it up. I love the language and the culture still (pre-rev.) I simply love writing in Cyrillic.

One thing that moved me to tears was a bio. I read of Carl Faberge, the creator of the some of the most beautiful things ever made on this earth. After the rev. his shop was taken over and he moved to Switzerland where he died within two years. Among his last words, "This is life no more." In that sentence I felt the loss of all that was once The Russias.

Too, I have a good idea, merely through reading, of the state of things at the time of the rev., and I know Nicolai II was a pitifully inept emporer, but he was a fine husband and father, and I feel such sorrow at how the family was murdered all together.

Gee, you called forth all that. I must go watch a DVD of some Russian ballet, or put on some Tchaikovsky.

Okay, Og or Earl can be Steed but I get to be Mrs. Peel. I always thought they should have "done it." Patrick McNee was so sexy when he slashed the bad guys with the spear that popped out of his umbrella.

Sweetnpetite, how about:

DeepThought

It's the name of the supercomputer that was created to calculate the answer to the meaning of the universe in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

(The answer was finally provided in the form of a number. Another, smarter computer then had to be built to come up with the question.)

I think it will be interesting to see if anyone can guess the original ID I use here. Good luck to all. Nope, no hints.
