DNC blog just came out with a theory for Trumps sale of his Washington Hotel and his moving his residence to Florida .Apparently under Florida law your main residence is safe when declaring personal bankruptcy .

I think also irrelevant to the move. He is incorporated, and as such his "personal" property is protected.
I assume also his golf course et el ( Mara Lago ) is not in his name, but the "Trump Organization".
He moved to protect himself from being investigated, as best he can.
