Trump's transition team has nominated Rep. Elise Stefanik, a longtime support of both MAGA extremism and Israeli genocidal campaigns, as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

She is an outspoken advocate of the "any criticism of Israel is 'anti-Semitic' by definition".

She is a terrible pick, and a terrible person.

Look for major increases in Palestinian civilian deaths in Gaza whilst the US turns a blind eye.

Trump's last to UN ambassadors at least had business and negotiation experience.

Stefanik brings nothing to the table except an unwavering support of Trump. Bootlicking is not considered a desirable trait for statecraft.

She is aiming for his office eventually. Her temperament shows that she shifts her positions as needed to advance.

She's had an interesting career arc. She hitched her star early on to Paul Ryan as he quickly ascended to Speaker of the House. Got rewarded with prime committee memberships. Ryan flamed out, she immediately pivoted to Trump. She's been singin' hosannas to him ever since. Gotta admire the singularity of purpose in that one.

He's picking all his posts according to how he thinks the TV camera sees them. Nothing to do with competence or experience. It's all about appealing to the poorly educated Faux viewer.
