I'm worried about this. I'm all for the fair trade and tariffs, but the rest of it concerns me.

It sounds like Reaganomics on steroids.

How are we going to pay for all this new spending he's proposing while cutting all these taxes at the same time.

This sounds like a recipe for disaster, not to mention exploding the budget deficit.

I am worried he will screw up the economy.

I also think he should leave the Fed alone. I'm a conspiracy theorist but I think the fed has been doing a pretty good job. Let Janet Yellen do her thing. We don't need radical changes on monetary or fiscal policy. We just need to bring back the good jobs from overseas.

The worst of it will be when there's a recession due to the Reaganomics on steroids, the free traitors will blame tariffs and fair trade and try to discredit them.

I hope I'm wrong.

welp. get ready to have your asshole ripped wide open.

President Trump plans to eliminate two regulations for each new one written. How on earth is he going to get jobs from overseas back to the US without lots of new regulations?

If it's a woman that rips your asshole open is it still "homoerotic?"
That depends on the size and color of the applied dildo(s).

And on what the recipient expects to find in his rosy anus.

And whether she's a contralto -- how low does she growl?

And on whether the recipient is resplendent in a pink tutu.

Many factors determine the HEQ (HomoEroticism Quotient.)

Start a poll.

Why would you worry about the 'budget' deficit?

It's just a number.

The USA needs bigger federal deficits to get people back to work.

Unemployment and underemployment are the worst things that can happen to an economy.

Perhaps this might sound naiive or uninformed to those who are versed in politics and economics:

But isn't Trump keen on diminishing US's military involvement overseas? (wars in the Middle East and the NATO stuff).
I suspect that unnecessary spending was also draining the budget. (let alone the immorality of it all)

Well, he can start by bringing his own overseas manufacturing jobs back (I could have bought one of his China-made hats for $25 when I went to his winery a couple of months ago). Wait, he's not supposed to be doing personal business while he's president. Hmmm.

That would fly in the face of his promise to increase the military budget.

Donald Trump's Conflicts of Interest Could Pose a Constitutional Crisis. Cf the Constitutional "emoluments clause", which "prohibits anyone in federal office from... accepting gifts from foreign governments." Tromp has (and owes) money everywhere. "Any payments from foreign governments or payments from banks controlled by foreign governments would fall under the emoluments clause ... loans from the Bank of China could be an issue." Will Prez Tromp make decisions that affect his family fortune? Well, duh.

Don't worry, the little Trumplings are gonna be super responsible with Daddy's business so there's no conflict of interest. They've pinky promised and everything.

Which ain't gonna happen.

There's no physical or economic reason why the US government can't create a full employment economy.

The reason they don't is that the rich don't want them to.

True. In theory. What I'm saying is that there is plenty political reason why it won't happen.

Mister. America, walk on by your schools that do not teach
Mister America, walk on by the minds that won't be reached
Mister America, try to hide the emptiness that's you inside
But once you find that the way you lied
And all the corny tricks you tried
Will not forestall the rising tide of hungry freaks, daddy!

They won't go for no more
Great mid-western hardware store
Philosophy that turns away
From those who aren't afraid to say what's on their minds
The left behinds of the great society
Hungry freaks, daddy!

Mister America, walk on by your supermarket dream
Mister America, walk on by the liquor store supreme
Mister America, try to hide the product of your savage pride
The useful minds that it denied
The day you shrugged and stepped aside
You saw their clothes, and then you cried,
"Those hungry freaks, daddy!"

Businesses seek out other countries to do business in because there are more regulations there?

That makes sense.

The rich, who would get richer selling goods and services to people that have more money because they have jobs instead of government handouts would just hate to have a consumer-driven economy with more money in it.

What you're describing is a consumer-driven economy with more of their money in it. Yeah, I'm sure they're totes on board with that.

Is there some other magical place that consumers get money to buy products to consume?

This vilification of the rich that started as a way to attack Romney has gotten to be Theatre of the Absurd.

You mean like the regulation Trump blamed Clinton for not imposing when she was a Senator to prohibit him from buying Chinese steel for his buildings?
