You are drawing a false equivalence. Clinton is at worst a seven-day flu. Trump is late-stage AIDS on top of gangrene, Zika and Ebola.

The worst thing Hillary will do is maintain the hegemony of the supply-side free-trade neoliberal Washington Consensus for another four to eight years. That's a bad thing, certainly, but the Republic can survive it for that long, and we all knew from the start Bernie wasn't gonna get it. At least Hillary, warhawkish though she is compared to Obama, can safely and confidently be trusted with access to the nuclear launch codes.

Conservatives might not like what she does as POTUS -- but, they will never have to wonder whether she knows what she's doing. Trump would not know what he is doing. He has never held any elected or public office. He has never even held a civil service job. And he does not seem even to understand why any of that is important.
