agree. the more individuals crow how many tariff dollars are taken in by the treasury each month, the more it comes out of businesses importing the goods and the american consumer paying for the imported goods.

tariffs are a tax to subsidize under performing or non competitive industries. the cost borne by the american public will grow as more of the trade agreements are 'finalized'. there may be more of a revolving door with trade given that the tariffs are on-again/off-again, up then down without any real business case for the amounts thrown out by the administration other than a rant.
