What I suspect may happen is that the US will see the price of it's medicines come down, but the pharma companies will go someway to mitigating this by raising the prices a little everywhere else.

I the UK a few years back there was a campaign to reduce the cost of motor insurance for men down to the levels that women paid, which was lower, equality and all that!...well this didn't happen; all that happened was is the insurance companies raised the cost of women's insurance up to the same level as men's.
