Patient1 actually got it in time for Christmas. I was the underachiever and waited for New Years. He is finally on the mend (I think) and I'm in the fever on/fever off mode still.

It was like that. Most of my crew came down with it and about the time they were returning to work, I came down with it. I missed my first day in years because I slept for close to 48 hours.

Sounds like my weekend. I slept most of Saturday, too. I do remember watching a few Twilight Zone shows in the last couple days but other than that, I don't remember doint much this weekend. Sleep was it. At least I"m not hacking like Patient1. He sounds like he'd trying to get his lungs to pop out. If he isn't better in another day or so it is back to the doctor for him. They said Virus but this is a bad one.

Mine stayed in the upper respiratory regions, so coughing, but no hacking.


I attribute the arrest of the infection to a vodka-NyQuil concoction.

Patient1 has been drinking NyQuil by the bottle I think. His cough is much worse than mine but I think I'm following him down the same path. This morning I'm up because my throat is killing me. Ouch! I may have to find that vodka for myself...
