Trump took documents so sensitive that they cannot even be described to the public Breaking a slew of laws
And Here is how the Trumpers here will defend this illegal act that compromised national security.
:

That didn't happen.

And if it did, it wasn't that bad.

And if it was, that's not a big deal.

And if it is, that's not his fault.

And if it was, he didn't mean it.

And if he did... You deserved it.

Is that the same source that reported that trump was colluding with the Russians.............for years?

The same news sources that sit on their asses reporting rumors passed on from some one whose cousin, twice removed, knows someone, that knows someone, who said?

I pity your husband.

Seek therapy. The world is on the verge of a George Soros initiated nuclear Holocaust and you are still obsessed over Trump winning in 2016? Grow up already. Holy crap.

WaPo's job is telling whoppers, so nothing new there. But pretending this is news is a symptom of the government's obsession with keeping a growing pile of secrets. That doesn't end well.

Lol, what a fucking stupid thread.

Trump, as President, could take those documents and show them on live TV and break no laws because he, as President, has the ultimate authority to do whatever the fuck he wants to do with classified documents and materials.

After leaving office in January 2021, Trump took 15 boxes of documents to his Florida resort, which National Archives officials said contained some classified information.

Sit the fuck down, RAPEY.

Uhh, ask yourself 1 question.

IF Trump had already left office when he supposedly took those 15 boxes, how the fuck did he get access to them and get them out of the WH?

Or did you not understand the timeline any more than the fucking idjit who wrote that article?

This is more pathetic than your usual cop-out, RAPEY. Not surprising though.

Rather, whom did he want them for?
only hazarding guesses here but for his own benefit and for himself fits the bill

a blend of stuff that stroked his ego (the kim love letters, for example) and sensitive material he DID NOT WANT President Biden seeing but most definitely should have passed along, just like they tried to keep Mr. Biden out of the loop with important information prior to his being confirmed as President. No doubt thought they'd make sure t got back in and so would continue to hold onto the sensitive material...which likely means that if democrats got to see the documents it'd affect decisions made around them or expose republicans' misuse/deeds relating to them.

Maybe he could. But should he have? Sometimes what is legal ain't ethical or very intelligent. Besides, say Biden did the same, what pray tell would be your response? Would you defend his decision to put our nation in jeopardy by treating sensitive documents like a note passed in class? If not, why not? And do you really see the donald's handling of such documents as a shoulder shrug, or are you so myopic in your political view as to defend him for something you know he shouldn't have done? Of course, I don't really expect a well thought out civil reply, but I'm always hopeful.

For my money, no matter the political party, I'd be pissed at ANY DFing asswipe that could be so careless with such important things.

Bill Barr just burned trump to the ground in a book he just put out.

As he has before, the two-time former attorney general – who also served under George HW Bush from 1991 to 1993 – blames Mr Trump for the Capitol riot on 6 January.

“The absurd lengths to which he took his ‘stolen election’ claim led to the rioting on Capitol Hill.”

Looking ahead, Mr Barr suggests the Republicans should look for a new leader ahead of the 2024 election. Mr Trump has repeatedly hinted that he may stand again.

Same way he could have grabbed WH silverware on the way out.

Since he wasn't reticent about destroying what he didn't want others to see, I can only surmise that whatever he took away and didn't destroy he not only didn't want others to see but he also believed he might use later to his own advantage. The man is criminally corrupt and an espionage asset of Vladimir Putin. He needs to go to prison. Those still supporting him need to get a close look themselves as enemies of the United States.
